Job summary

Fundamental is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and service for patients and residents. You will follow menus, respect dietary orders, and help ensure timely meal service. The role supports a compassionate team that enhances daily life through food.

The position offers competitive hourly wages, with a DailyPay option and weekday/weekend shift differential, reflecting the care-focused environment and steady patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
• Food handler’s permit preferred according to local regulatory requirements.
• Experience in food prep and service within a skilled nursing or long term care facility strongly preferred.
• Must be able to speak, understand, and write in fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and/or service of meals for patients, employees, and special events as instructed by the Dietary Manager.
• Serve food and snacks according to the planned menu and patient/resident preferences and diet orders.
• Assist the Cook to ensure food is prepared, portioned, and delivered on time per menu and residents’ diet orders.
• May wash dishes when necessary or instructed by the Dietary Manager.
