Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations in Lexington, TN. The role involves setting up meal trays, assisting with serving, operating the dishwasher, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

You will learn routines quickly, follow safety standards, and participate in ongoing staff training. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to obtain a food handlers’ certificate.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine at shift start.
• Observe water temperatures during dishwashing cycles.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen.
• Take out trash and garbage.
• Store groceries safely.
• Ensure kitchen remains clean and sanitary for the next shift.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
• Collaborate with personnel across departments.
