• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read technical procedures, follow recipes, and present information clearly.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.
• Physical ability to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly and operate within shift needs.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Check and record water temperatures of dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors and refrigerators.
• Carry out trash disposal and safe storage of groceries.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing dietary staff training.
