Job summary

Edwardsville Care Center in Edwardsville, KS is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team in both full-time and part-time roles. You will assist in preparing and serving meals to residents, following dietary guidelines and menu orders, with a focus on friendly, respectful service.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience required. A willingness to learn is needed.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate resident needs.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to residents.
• Set up trays and serve regular meals, and prepare snacks for special events.
• Deliver and retrieve trays and ensure food is served according to diet orders and menu.
• Maintain safety and sanitary conditions; clean tables, chairs and equipment.
