Job summary

Brunswick Pointe Transitional Care is seeking caring, dependable Dietary Aides to join our team. You will provide residents with nutritious meals while upholding food safety, cleanliness, and excellent service. This is a full-time, on-site role in Brunswick, OH.

You will prepare meals per diet orders, assist during service, and help maintain a sanitary kitchen. ServSafe is a plus; background screenings are required. Competitive pay with same-day pay, scheduling options, and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Previous food service experience in healthcare preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• ServSafe certification is a plus but not required.
• Must successfully complete all required background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and serve meals per resident diet orders.
• Set up meal trays accurately and deliver meals in a timely manner.
• Serve beverages and assist residents during meal service as needed.
• Collect trays and clean dining areas after meals.
• Label, cover, and properly store food items.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen following infection control and food safety guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report equipment concerns.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding food service.
• Treat all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion.
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff, nursing, and other departments.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager.
