Job summary

Eastbrook Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in Cleveland, OH. This part-time role focuses on preparing and delivering nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs.

You will assist with dining room setup, maintain cleanliness, and coordinate with kitchen and nursing staff to meet residents' preferences. Shifts include 7a-3p and 12p-8p with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in dietary aide or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Help with setup and cleanup of dining areas before and after meals.
• Ensure kitchen and dining areas are clean and sanitary per food safety standards.
• Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely and courteous manner.
• Communicate dietary needs with kitchen and nursing staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established dietary guidelines and menus.
• Help with the setup and cleanup of dining areas before and after meals.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, following food safety standards.
• Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely and courteous manner.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and nursing staff to accommodate residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storing food supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of resident food preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Participate in training and staff meetings as required.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and sanitary food service environment.

Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay: $14/HR
• Part-Time
• Shifts: 7a-3p and 12p-8p with (Rotating weekends)
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of previous experience preferred. IND123
