This role includes maintaining cleanliness in work areas, washing and sanitizing food preparation equipment and utensils, floors, and all dishes, flatware, and trays. The ideal candidate will have a customer service-oriented attitude and a basic understanding of infection control protocols.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up dining areas and assist with serving meals to residents and facility staff.
• Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized.
• Wash and sanitize food preparation equipment, utensils, floors, and all dishes, flatware, and trays.
• Follow established routines and instructions for meal preparation and service.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in a dietary or food service role is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and established routines.
• Basic understanding of infection control protocols.
• Customer service-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
