Job summary

City View Post Acute in San Francisco, CA is hiring Dietary Aide / Dishwasher to join our dietary team. Full-Time AM shift options 4:30 AM–1:00 PM or 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with starting pay at $19.61/hour.

You will help support daily meal service and keep the dietary area clean and organized, contributing to a safe and welcoming dining experience for residents. No prior dietary experience is required, though any food service or dishwashing background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, or dishwasher experience is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Clean up after meal service and properly store dishes and supplies.
• Assist with checking resident meal trays for menu accuracy, dietary preferences, and special requirements.
• Follow sanitation, food safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Work closely with dietary staff and other departments to ensure timely meal service.
• Demonstrate compassion, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
• Follow directions and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Work independently while also contributing as a positive team member.
