The Dietary Aide provides assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in serving meals in a timely manner.
2. Serving food according to established portion control procedures.
3. Assisting in cleaning duties such as cleaning work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, sweeping and mopping floors, and disposing of garbage.
4. Carrying soiled utensils to the wash area and returning clean utensils to storage.
5. Washing and cleaning dishes/utensils as directed.
6. Setting up meal trays, food carts, and dining areas as instructed.
7. Delivering food carts, trays, and removing food trays from dining areas to the dishwashing area.
8. Preparing and delivering snacks as instructed.
9. Maintaining food storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
10. Assisting in food preparation for special meals.
11. Disposing of food and waste according to policies.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.78 per hour.
