Vineyard Henderson Memory Care in Henderson, NV is seeking a friendly Dining Room Server/Dishwasher to provide an outstanding dining experience for residents. This role supports front-of-house service, assists with meals, and helps maintain clean, safe dining areas.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma and the ability to work 18+ with good English communication. The position offers competitive wages with opportunities to grow, on-site training, and full-time/part-time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Healthcare food service experience preferred.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, reach and stand for long periods.
• Nevada Food Handler Certification or active process to obtain.
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Serve, clear, clean, and assist residents with food selection and table service.
• Provide high level of customer service to residents and guests.
• Occasional plating and tasting to ensure food quality.
• Deliver room service trays and support back-of-house tasks.
• Assist with special events and maintain sanitation standards.
• Wash and store dishes and help with kitchen order and cleanliness.
• Respect residents’ privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Follow infection control procedures and complete required training.

Vineyard Henderson Memory Care, located in Henderson, NV is seeking a dedicated and friendly Dining Room Server/Dishwasher to provide an extraordinary dining experience for the residents in our community.

Responsibilities of the Dining Room Server/Dishwasher

• Responsible for front of house dining experience; serving, clearing, cleaning, and resident assistance with food selection and table service.
• Provide a high level of customer service to the Community’s residents and guests.
• Occasional plating and/or tasting of food before it goes out of kitchen to ensure food quality meets expectations.
• Deliver room service trays as needed. Also support back of the house dining department in completing necessary tasks as assigned.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Adheres to proper food handling and sanitation guidelines.
• Support back of the house dining department in completing necessary tasks as assigned.
• Wash and store dishes.
• Assist with kitchen order and cleanliness.
• Ensure residents are provided with privacy, respect, and dignity.
• Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Completes state required training upon hire and annually.

Required Experience

• Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in food service in a healthcare setting preferred
  
• Must have the ability to push, pull, bend, twist, reach, and stand/walk for long periods of time
• Valid Nevada Food Handler Certification or in the process of obtaining it.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
