Job summary

Crestwood-Ridge-Nursing- in Crestwood, OH is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide/Cook to support meal service, assist in food preparation, and maintain clean food-service areas. You will set up trays and dining-room tables, and ensure meals are delivered with friendly, customer-focused service.

You’ll follow all applicable policies, procedures, and long-term care regulations, and prior experience in a dietary department is preferred.

Qualifications

• Responsible for meal service, assisting in preparation of food, care and cleaning of food service equipment.
• Setting up trays and dining room tables.
• Follow policies and procedures and regulations for long-term care.
• Previous experience in a dietary department, preferably healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals with a positive dining experience and friendly service.
• Follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, state and local regulations that govern long-term care.
• Prepare food in accordance with standards and our established procedures.

Experience and Skills

Responsible for meal service, assisting in preparation offood, care and cleaning of food service equipment, setting uptrays and dining room tables.

Ability to ensure the delivery of meals and customer servicefor a positive dining experience. Follow all applicable policiesand procedures as well as current federal, states and localguidelines and regulations that govern long-term care.

The Cook is responsible for the preparation of food inaccordance with current applicable federal, state, and localstandards, guidelines and regulations, with our establishedpolicies and procedures.

Previous experience working in a dietary department isrequired preferably in a healthcare setting.
