Join our team as a Dietary Aide/Cook at Perimeter Healthcare - Integrated Behavioral Health. We are a leading provider of mental and behavioral healthcare, offering comprehensive treatment programs across multiple states. Our services include inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, and outpatient therapies, all committed to excellence and healing.

Role Overview

As a Dietary Aide/Cook, you will play a vital role in patient recovery by preparing nutritious meals that meet healthcare standards and therapeutic dietary needs, supporting our healing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation & Service: Plan and serve meals on schedule, following recipes and dietary requirements, monitor food quality and temperature, maintain kitchen equipment, and adapt menus as needed.
2. Safety & Sanitation: Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, follow safety protocols, properly store and label food, and record food temperatures.
3. Team Collaboration: Train kitchen helpers, coordinate with dietary staff, communicate with healthcare team about dietary needs, and assist in menu planning and inventory management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be 21 or older
• Food safety certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperatures

Preferred Skills

• Experience in healthcare food service
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets
• Experience with large-scale food prep
• ServSafe certification
