Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support dining services in our skilled nursing and memory care communities. You will assist residents with meals, ensure safety, and help maintain clean dining areas.

The role requires basic cooking skills, attention to dietary orders, sanitation knowledge, and a positive, patient attitude. Pay ranges from $15 to $21 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of dietary aide experience preferred.
• Basic cooking skills and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions and diet orders.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks with interruptions and maintain a patient demeanor.
• Must have or be willing to obtain food safety certification.
• Hepatitis A vaccine may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with food and beverage choices in alignment with dietary restrictions.
• Perform dining service routines using utensils, supplies, and equipment.
• Prepare meals, beverages, and food items and serve at proper temperatures and times.
• Set up dining rooms, including tables, condiments, and cleaning duties.
• Clean dining service areas and manage waste and stocking per policy.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards or incidents to supervision.
• Maintain HACCP logs and document product usage and waste.
• Follow infection control procedures and proper hand-washing practices.
