Qualifications

• Ability to read diet cards, speak English, and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cook on duty with non-cooking duties and help maintain sanitary, safe dietary conditions.
• Follow planned menu and prepare foods and beverages per recipes and established procedures.
• Provide food service to residents and assist in serving beverages and tray carts.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, silverware, etc.
• Clean and sanitize work areas.
• Assist with duties of the Cook and Assistant Cook in meal preparation and snacks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
