Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to the cook on duty by performing primarily non-cooking duties and assisting in sanitary dietary conditions.
• Follows planned menu and prepares food according to recipes and procedures.
• Provides food service to residents and assists in serving beverages and trays.
• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes and silverware.
• Cleans, sanitizes, sweeps, and mops work areas.
• Assists with duties of the Cook and Assistant Cook in meal preparation.
