Job summary

CenterPointe Hospital of Columbia is seeking a PRN Dietary Aide to support patient meals and dining services. The role involves assisting with meal prep, tray assembly, sanitation, and ensuring meals meet dietary guidelines in a hospital setting.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and ServSafe or similar food safety certification. Flexible scheduling and a supportive healthcare environment are provided.

• Perform routine tasks related to clean up and sanitation of kitchen, dining or serving areas.
• Properly prepare, serve and store food in accordance with facility policies.
• Ensure compliance with state or federal regulations.
• Prepare foods according to standardized recipes and approved menu.
• Utilize service methods and food handling techniques to ensure quality.
• Understand and apply the sanitation procedures needed to provide a safe and healthy environment.
• Adhere to menu compliance, special diet compliance and report any dietary non-compliance, concern or complaint of patients to dietician, supervisor or manager.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Join CenterPointe Hospital of Columbia as a PRN Dietary Aide and help support patient care through quality meal service. In this role, you will:

• Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and meal delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and dining areas
• Follow food safety standards and dietary guidelines
• Support patients by ensuring meals are served accurately and efficiently
• Work as part of a team to create a positive dining experience
• Provide coverage as needed for staffing and scheduling needs

We're looking for a dependable, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellent service. Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
