Job summary

St. Joseph's Living Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with meal service and food preparation in a compassionate, resident-focused environment. Entry-level with room to grow, based on experience. Full-time position with a 6:00AM-2:00PM shift and weekend/holiday rotation.

Candidates should be able to communicate in English and work well in a collaborative team. The center emphasizes resident care, employee appreciation, and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ years old.
• Demonstrates a collaborative team mindset and can follow instructions.
• Prior dietary experience in hospital or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the dining room and assist with meal service to ensure timely dining experiences for residents.
• Support food preparation, assist cooks, check diet trays for accuracy, and help with special meals/events.
• Serve residents and staff with courtesy and professionalism while maintaining a positive dining environment.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness by clearing, washing, and resetting spaces per sanitation standards.
• Protect resident confidentiality and provide compassionate care while supporting dietary needs.

Dietary Aide | St. Joseph's Living Center
$16.95/hour, based on experience
Full-Time Shift Available: 6:00AM - 2:00PM, weekend and holiday rotation

• Maintain cleanliness by clearing, washing, and resetting dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards.
• Protect resident confidentiality and provide kind, compassionate care while supporting residents' dietary needs.

Qualifications for Success:

• 16+ Years of age
• Collaborative team player with the ability to follow instructions
• Prior Dietary experience working in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred
• Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written
