Evergreen Health and Rehab. in Winchester, VA is seeking a dependable and caring Dietary Aide to join our team.

You will assist with preparing and serving meals, help maintain clean dining and kitchen areas, and work closely with the dietary team to ensure resident diets are followed with compassion. Qualifications include experience in dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare settings, ability to follow dietary requirements, and a positive team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and dietary requirements.
• Reliable and dependable.

• Interact professionally and compassionately with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals to residents
• Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals
• Deliver meals and trays to residents as needed
• Assist with serving meals according to resident diets and preferences
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Keep the kitchen, dining areas, and workspaces clean and organized
• Assist with stocking food and supplies
• Work closely with the Dietary Manager, Cook, and dietary team
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents
• Follow all facility policies and food service guidelines

Pay: $15.00–$16.00 per hour based on experience
