George Washington Health and Rehab. in Alexandria, VA is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join our team. The role involves preparing and serving meals, delivering trays, and maintaining clean dining and kitchen areas.

Qualificações

• Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and dietary requirements.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Interact professionally and compassionately with residents.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with preparing and serving meals to residents.
• Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals.
• Deliver meals and trays to residents as needed.
• Assist with serving meals according to resident diets and preferences.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the kitchen, dining areas, and workspaces clean and organized.
• Assist with stocking food and supplies.
• Work closely with the Dietary Manager, Cook, and dietary team.
• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents.
• Follow all facility policies and food service guidelines.
