Deer Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation is currently searching for a talented Dietary Aide to join our team! Our facilities deliver outstanding care and foster strong employee bonds. Dietary Aide Responsibilities:

• Ensure safety precautions, life safety, and infection control policies are followed during daily work assignments.
• Prepare food as assigned and assist the cook as needed, ensuring proper handling and storage of food. Gain knowledge of diets and menus.
• Serve meals, clear the main dining room, and wipe tables.
• Wash dishes and equipment, and thoroughly clean the work area.
• Follow prescribed menus for tray preparation and honor residents' preferences when possible.
• Prepare and distribute snacks to the nursing department as needed.
• Stock the storeroom and bring out stock as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness by taking out trash, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping shelves, cleaning appliances, and leaving the kitchen tidy.

Dietary Aide Requirements:

• Complete orientation as per company policy.
• Complete health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Complete mandatory drug test upon hire.
• Have a clean criminal background.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to the job.
• Provide evidence of identity and employment eligibility within three days of hire.
• Possess a current Food Handler’s Permit.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Dietary Aide or similar role; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.
