Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents and guests with nourishing meals in a warm, respectful environment.

You will take orders, assist with seating, deliver meals, clear tables, and help with light cleaning and food preparation; opportunities for part-time hours, with days/evenings/rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Sanitation certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Experience serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders.
• Seat and assist residents as needed.
• Deliver meals and remove dinnerware promptly.
• Assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.

Job description

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Dietary Aide to be responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for all residents and guests. The Dietary Aide will be responsible for taking food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents when needed, delivering meals, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.

What we’re looking for:

• Sanitation Certified or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have a solid work ethic, positive attitude, and be a good team player.
• Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.
