Job summary

Eagle Senior Living in Titusville, FL is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to assist with dining service and daily resident care under the Dining Room Manager. This role includes setting and serving meals, clearing tables, and supporting inventory and special events.

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain tables; serve residents promptly, courteously, and in an orderly manner.
• Clear and reset tables after meal service; sweep and mop floors.
• Prepare for and work special functions; assist with inventory and vendor deliveries.
• Wash and sanitize cooking and serving items, kitchen equipment, walls, and floors.
• Follow individualized plans of care for assigned residents; observe and report changes in condition.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, transfers, and ambulation as directed
• Support fall prevention and a restraint-free environment; help welcome and transfer residents.

We're hiring a Dietary Aide to help deliver excellent dining service while also supporting residents' daily care needs. This role reports to the Dining Room Manager.

What You'll Do

• Set and maintain tables; serve residents promptly, courteously, and in an orderly manner
• Clear and reset tables after meal service; sweep and mop floors
• Prepare for and work special functions; assist with inventory and vendor deliveries
• Wash and sanitize cooking and serving items, kitchen equipment, walls, and floors

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, turn, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and perform fine manipulation throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance
• Normal or corrected vision and hearing, including color recognition

Working Environment

• Work is performed in a well-lit, well-ventilated dining and community setting, with occasional exposure to dust, fumes, odors, water, and noise
• Occasional outdoor exposure to weather and temperature changes
• Flexibility to work beyond normal hours, on weekends, or in other roles as needed
