Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Dietary Aide to create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. The Dietary Aide will take food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents, delivering meals, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner.

May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation. Opportunities for part-time or PRN hours; available shifts include days, evenings, or rotating.

Qualifications

• Sanitation certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Experience serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Solid work ethic, positive attitude, and good team player.
• Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests.
• Take food and drink orders, seat and assist residents as needed.
• Deliver meals and remove dinnerware promptly from tables.
• Assist with general cleaning, dishes, and basic food preparation as needed.
• Support a smooth flow of dining services during shifts.

The Dietary Aide will be responsible for taking food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents when needed, delivering meals, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.

What we’re looking for:
