Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Dietary Aide to create an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. You will take food and drink orders, assist with seating, deliver meals, and clear dining areas in a timely manner.

Shifts available days or evenings, with opportunities for full-time or part-time schedules. Sanitation certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days is preferred, and weekend/holiday rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Sanitation certification or eligibility to obtain within 30 days.
• Restaurant serving experience preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Solid work ethic, positive attitude, and team player.
• Willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders and relay to kitchen staff.
• Seat and assist residents when needed to ensure comfort.
• Deliver meals to residents and guests in a timely manner.
• Remove dinnerware from tables after meals.
• Assist with general cleaning, dishes and basic food preparation.

The Dietary Aide will be responsible for taking food and drink orders, seating and assisting residents when needed, delivering meals, and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. May also assist with general cleaning, dishes, and food preparation.

What we’re looking for:

• Sanitation Certified or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with serving in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to recognize residents’ needs and respond with urgency and compassion.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have a solid work ethic, positive attitude, and be a good team player.
• Able and willing to work weekend and holiday rotation.
