Job description

Join our Dietary department at Christ the King Manor, where you can develop a passion for food service while assisting our residents with one of the most valued components of their day. We are seeking both full-time and part-time positions for day and evening shifts. This opportunity is ideal for students looking for after-school work!

Shifts Available

• 5:45 am - 2:15 pm
• 11:00 am - 7:00 pm
• 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Great for students after school!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the preparation of food, including main courses, salads, desserts, and special diets under the guidance of the Cook.
• Preparing trays according to menus; serving and/or delivering food to designated locations.
• Setting up tables and dining areas; clearing tables in the main dining room.
• Preparing snacks, juices, and nourishments; transporting nourishment carts to appropriate wings.
• Serving meals to residents in the main dining room.
• Setting up the dish room, operating dishwashing equipment, and maintaining sanitation standards.
• Cleaning and sanitizing the dining and kitchen areas, including sweeping, mopping, and laundry of dishes and equipment.
• Wearing protective clothing and devices as required.

No prior experience is necessary; we are willing to train the right candidate.
