The Dietary Aide is an integral part the team that helps to nourish and support the lives of our patients and residents each day. As a Dietary Aide you are responsible for:

· Preparing food items for residents such as sandwiches and desserts as well as setting up the resident dining room

· Ensuring that what is listed on the resident’s meal ticket is on their breakfast, lunch or dinner trays

· Delivering food trucks to each unit at the scheduled time and ensuring that required food temperatures are achieved

· Bringing the food trucks back to the kitchen and helping to ensure the trays, dishes, food trucks, etc. are cleaned and ready for use at the nest meal

· Working as part of a cohesive dietary team to ensure our residents and patients are serviced properly, enjoy the food and interaction with Cooks and Dietary Aides.

Required qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Dietary Aide in a Healthcare setting is desirable

• ServSafe Certification is a plus
