Shifts Details

Lexington Country Place is seeking Dietary Aides to join their team!

Shift Options: 6am-2pm or 11am-7pm; weekends required

Purpose

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. They handle all foods following sanitary procedures and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding food service.

  • Follow all policies regarding food handling
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
  • Prepare special dietary needs as directed
  • Adhere to posted menus and use approved recipes to prepare food in a timely manner

Requirements

Education/Experience/Certification:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in dining hospitality or senior living preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of infection control procedures
  • Ability to multitask and manage stress
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Understanding and embracing the assisted living philosophy
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
