Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the direction of dietary manager and cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays on schedule.
• Clear dining areas and collect dishes and trash.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean prep areas, kitchen, dishes, and equipment.
• Clean other areas of the facility as directed.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory of food, beverages, and equipment.
• Provide meals per residents' orders or diet instructions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, staff, and supervisors.

Job Duties

• Set up dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order


• Prepare meals under the direction of dietary manager and cook


• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms


• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, dishes, trash, etc.


• Discard leftovers and take out garbage


• Clean food preparation areas, kitchen, dishes, and equipment


• Clean other others of facility as directed


• Stock ingredients and monitor, food, beverage, and equipment/supplies inventory as directed


• Ensure that food is provided to residents consistent with orders or diet instructions


• Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, staff, and supervisors
