Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group's Rawlins Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our dietary department. You will work as part of a team that takes pride in culinary excellence and patient-centered service.

This full-time role involves reading tray orders, assembling items, assisting with food prep, serving meals at the right time and temperature, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. A Food Handlers' Permit is required, and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers' Permit required.
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place utensils, napkins, condiments on trays.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.

Job Summary:

Rawlins Rehabilitation and Wellness is currently looking for a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. We are seeking a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work. Our enhanced dining program provides culinary excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Required: Food Handlers' Permit
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety
• Interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
