Job summary

Laramie Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Dietary Aide to join the dietary department. The role involves reading orders, placing items on trays, assisting with food preparation, and serving meals while ensuring proper temperature and presentation.

Shifts include Saturdays and Sundays from 5 am to 1 pm and 1 pm to 9 pm (PRN/PT). The facility is located at 503 18th Street, Laramie, WY 82070, USA, and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Requires Food Handlers' Permit and knowledge of sanitation and safety standards.
• Interpersonal and detail-oriented with ability to learn kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place utensils, napkins, straws, condiments on trays.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve meals on trays at proper time and temperature.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Wash dishes and maintain clean work area.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness.

Essential Functions:

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Required:Food Handlers' Permit
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety
• Interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
