Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, NJ is seeking a Dining Associate to support our Continuing Care dining room and pantry, delivering friendly, resident-focused service.

You will greet residents, coordinate with seaters and servers, assist with prep, stocking, serving, and cleanup, and help train staff. Full-time and part-time roles are available, with a $17–$20 hourly wage and benefits as per state law, including health, dental and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a food service environment preferred.
• Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Schedule flexibility; some weekends and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome residents upon arrival at the restaurant.
• Coordinate with seaters to help servers and kitchen staff run smoothly.
• Assist with preparation, stocking, serving, and post-meal clean-up.
• Ensure residents receive adequate nutritional intake.
• Answer phones professionally and follow up on requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in front of house and kitchen.
• Assist in training the wait staff.

Join our team as a Dining Associate in our Continuing Care department and play a key role in delivering excellent service to our residents. You’ll ensure the dining room and pantry run smoothly, supporting our goal of providing a great dining experience.

Full Time and Part Time positions available.

How you will make an impact
