Job summary

Villas of Holly Brook in Jerseyville, IL is seeking a Dietary Aide to support dining services for residents in a memory-care and assisted living setting. You will help prepare meals, take orders, serve residents, and maintain a clean, inviting dining room.

The position offers 24 to 29 hours per week on a part-time schedule with a focus on resident-centered dining; benefits are described for full-time staff and opportunities for growth exist within the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables and assist the cook.
• Take residents' food and beverage orders and serve residents promptly.
• Provide high level of customer service and maintain a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Review daily menu with residents and assist with events as needed.
• Clean and sanitize dining area and equipment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for setting and clearing tables, assisting the cook, taking residents food and beverage orders and serving residents in a timely professional manner.

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Set tables in accordance to Company standards.
• Serve residents and guests beverages as requested.
• Review daily menu with residents.
• Remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, linen from the dining room as needed.
• Adhere to Quality standards and standard food safety practices.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• When applicable acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining options and hours.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room.
• Create a strong sense of team work and cooperation among all staff.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
