Job summary

Villas of Holly Brook in Danville, IL is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our dining services team. The role includes setting and clearing tables, assisting the cook, taking residents' food and beverage orders, and serving in a timely, professional manner.

Salary ranges from $15.00 to $17.50 per hour with benefits and opportunities to support special events and a restaurant-style dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables, assist cook, take residents' food and beverage orders and serve promptly.
• Provide high level of customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Set tables per Company standards.
• Serve beverages to residents and guests as requested.
• Review daily menu with residents.
• Remove used or soiled items from the dining room.
• Adhere to quality standards and food safety practices.
• Assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Acquaint new residents with menus, seating and dining options and hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setting and clearing tables, assisting the cook, taking residents food and beverage orders and serving residents in a timely professional manner.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Set tables in accordance to Company standards.
• Serve residents and guests beverages as requested.
• Review daily menu with residents.
• Remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, linen from the dining room as needed.
• Adhere to Quality standards and standard food safety practices.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• When applicable acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining options and hours.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room.
• Create a strong sense of team work and cooperation among all staff.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Weekends required
