Job summary

Villas of Holly Brook and Reflections Memory Care in Streator, IL is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in dining services, setting tables, taking orders, and serving residents with a focus on quality and hospitality.

The role is part time (24 to 29 hours per week) with weekend shifts required, offering benefits including health insurance and PTO. You will work with a caring team to provide a dining experience that supports residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or Company standards.
• Weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Set tables and assist the cook to serve residents promptly.
• Provide high level of customer service in a dining atmosphere.
• Review daily menu with residents and accommodate requests.
• Clean and sanitize dining areas and equipment.
• Assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth dining operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setting and clearing tables, assisting the cook, taking residents food and beverage orders and serving residents in a timely professional manner.
• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Set tables in accordance to Company standards.
• Serve residents and guests beverages as requested.
• Review daily menu with residents.
• Remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, linen from the dining room as needed.
• Adhere to Quality standards and standard food safety practices.
• Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• When applicable acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining options and hours.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room.
• Create a strong sense of team work and cooperation among all staff.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
