Description

As a Food & Nutrition Float, you’ll help deliver high-quality meals and exceptional service to patients, staff, and visitors. This versatile role includes duties such as food prep, tray assembly, café support, and sanitation—ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble patient meal trays based on dietary needs and restrictions.
• Deliver meals to patient rooms promptly and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and dishware.
• Assist with food prep, portioning, and restocking supplies.
• Operate dish machines and handle utensils and meal carts properly.
• Communicate with nursing and kitchen staff to ensure accurate meal delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food service experience, especially in healthcare, is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods, push food carts, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• ServSafe Certification (preferred or required within 90 days of hire).
