Responsibilities

1. Set up tables and dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
2. Prepare meals under supervision of a dietary manager or cook
3. Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
4. Clear dining areas and collect plates, glasses, etc.
5. Dispose of leftovers and take out garbage
6. Clean food stations and wash dishes, cookware, and utensils
7. Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
8. Assist with expense tracking and menu planning
9. Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances

Minimum Requirements

1. Proven experience as a dietary aide
2. Customer service experience is a plus
3. Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
4. Ability to operate cookware, bakeware, and cooking appliances
5. Friendly demeanor and good communication skills
6. Good physical condition and stamina
7. High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus
8. Criminal background check required
