Harmony Palos Heights is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our caring team in Palos Heights, IL. You will assist residents with meals, ensuring items meet dietary needs and that food safety standards are followed.

As a member of our skilled nursing community, you’ll help maintain clean dining areas, record temperatures, and support residents with comfort and dignity. Prior foodservice experience is preferred, but training is available.

Qualifications

• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow dietary restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals and ensure items meet dietary needs.
• Maintain food safety by recording temperatures and adhering to dietary protocols.
• Keep dining and kitchen areas clean and sanitized.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony Palos Heights by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
