Job summary

Harmony Marshalltown is hiring Dietary Aides to join our friendly and supportive team in a Skilled Nursing setting. You will assist residents with meals, verify dietary items, and help maintain a clean kitchen and dining area.

We offer opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package. We welcome applicants with at least a 10th grade education and prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferred; however, we invest in the right candidate.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals and ensure they receive the appropriate items for each meal.
• Record temperatures and ensure kitchen and dietary equipment are clean and sanitized.
• Ensure residents are comfortable and safe with proper dietary needs.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony Marshalltown by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
