Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Oklahoma City is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join the culinary team. You will assist patients with menu selections and deliver meals promptly, ensuring accuracy of orders and adherence to dietary requirements.

Applicants must be 18+, maintain personal hygiene, and communicate in English. Prior culinary experience is a plus. We offer flexible shifts, with opportunities for growth within the dietary team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Location: Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Oklahoma City Pay Rate: Hourly - Hourly Plan, 14.00 USD Hourly Work Shift:

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team! As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Responsibilities

• Dietary Aide Wage: $14.00/hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, Oklahoma City
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
