Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide at Winston Medical Center to assist patients with menu selections and deliver meals in a timely manner.

You will provide excellent customer service to ensure patients are satisfied with their meals and follow health and safety policies while supporting the dietary team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selection and deliver meals.

• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.

As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Responsibilities

• Wage: $10.00/hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Winston Medical Center
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times
• Adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
