Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC (USA) is seeking a Dietary Aide for Valley Springs Behavioral Health. You will assist patients with menu selection, deliver meals, and provide friendly, attentive service in a hospital-like setting.

Responsibilities include accurate meal matching, helping with menus, and maintaining health and safety standards. Day/Evening/Night shifts are available, with full-time and part-time options to fit flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

• Help patients with menu selection and deliver meals in a timely fashion.
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal matching their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus promptly.
• Prepare cold and hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management to keep the department running efficiently.

Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team! As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Responsibilities

• Dietary Aide Wage: $18.00/hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Valley Springs Behavioral Health
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
