Job summary

The Allure Group in Harlem, NY is seeking a Dietary Aide for Harlem Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, our skilled nursing facility in Harlem. You will participate in serving meals and supporting the dietary team to enhance residents' comfort and nutrition.

Responsibilities include meal setup, tray assembly, kitchen support, and adherence to sanitation guidelines. Required high school diploma and COVID-19 vaccination; prior long-term care experience preferred.

Dietary Aide Responsibilities

• Serve meals in accordance with established portion control procedures
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining rooms, etc. as instructed
• Assist cook in preparing meals
• Distribute and collect menus as necessary
• Prepare and dispose of food and waste in accordance with sanitary guidelines
• Ensure that food and supplies for meals are readily available
• Assist in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc. as necessary

Dietary Aide Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• COVID-19 Vaccination

Preferred

• Previous experience in long-term care
