Job summary

The Allure Group is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team in Brooklyn, NY. You will complete nutritional assessments, develop individualized care plans, monitor residents' status, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team on dietary interventions.

Provide nutrition counseling, ensure compliance with dietary guidelines and Kosher regulations, and participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or registry-eligible with the American Dietetic Association (must pass exam within required timeframe)
• Knowledge of regulatory dietary requirements for skilled nursing facilities
• COVID-19 vaccination

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents
• Monitor and document residents’ nutritional status, progress, and care plan updates
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members on dietary interventions
• Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents to support healthy eating habits
• Ensure compliance with dietary guidelines, safety, infection control, and Kosher regulations
• Attend and contribute to interdisciplinary care plan meetings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in resident medical records
• Stay current with industry standards through continuing education and in-service training
• Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold all resident rights
• Perform other job-related duties as needed and directed
