Dietary Aide

The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a talented and hard-working Dietary Aide to join our team.

Duties Include:

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed
• Carry out garbage

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have dietary aide experience (LTC preferred but not required)
• Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
• Able to follow and understand procedures
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality

Salary:$17 an hour
