Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience in food service, dietary, or related field is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to patients, residents, and staff in accordance with established recipes, menu cycles, and food safety guidelines.
• Assist with food preparation, including cutting, mixing, and cooking.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory management, receiving, and storing food, supplies, and equipment.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure efficient meal service and effective communication.
• Participate in menu planning, ordering, and receiving supplies and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, inventory, and supplies.
