The Bungalows at Jonesboro is seeking a Dietary Aide to join their team.

Shift Details: Full-Time / Flexible Shift.

Role Overview: The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining, and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. The aide handles all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and complies with all federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

Responsibilities

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling.
• Maintain standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
• Prepare all special dietary needs as directed.
• Adhere to posted menus and prepare food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner.
• Serve resident meals.
• Set up and break down dining room for meals.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma / GED required.
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full‑service senior living preferred.
• Understanding of infection control procedures.
• Ability to multitask and manage stress.
• Competent in time management / organizational skills.
• Understanding and embracing the assisted living philosophy.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
