Onyx Care of Natchitoches is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to help ensure residents receive proper nutrition and meal service. You will assist with meal preparation, tray setup, and delivery while maintaining a clean dining area.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, can lift up to 25 pounds, and understands food safety. You will work closely with the dietary team in a fast-paced, supportive environment with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals to patients, including food preparation, tray setup, and delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, adhering to infection control standards
• Assist with food ordering, inventory management, and storage
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and implement menu options for patients with special dietary needs
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and visitors
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the dietary team
