Job summary

The Waters of Muncie Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to support meal preparation and delivery for residents. You will help wash, prepare, and serve meals, keep prep areas clean and safe, and handle tray service while ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include documenting temperatures and inventory, communicating effectively with residents, and supporting a welcoming, high-quality care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food service experience preferred but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.

• Assist in meal preparation by washing, peeling, and chopping fruits and vegetables and serving meals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by sanitizing prep areas, washing dishes, and restocking supplies.
• Assist with tray service by setting up, delivering, and collecting trays after meals.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to resident requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, inventory, and other relevant information.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at The Waters of Muncie Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents by assisting in the preparation and delivery of meals, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and comfort for our residents.

About the Role:

As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in meal preparation by washing, peeling, and chopping fruits and vegetables, as well as preparing and serving meals to residents.

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment by cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, dishwashing, and restocking supplies as needed.

• Assisting with tray service by setting up and delivering meals to residents, as well as collecting and cleaning trays after meals.

• Providing exceptional customer service by responding to resident requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

• Maintaining accurate records by documenting food temperatures, inventory, and other relevant information.
