Job summary

The Waters of Muncie Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our care team. You will assist in meal prep, serve residents, and support a clean, safe dining environment to promote comfort and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include washing and preparing fruits and vegetables, delivering meals via tray service, recording temperatures and inventory, and responding to resident requests with warmth and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in meal preparation by washing, peeling, and chopping fruits and vegetables, as well as preparing and serving meals to residents.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment by cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, dishwashing, and restocking supplies as needed.
• Assisting with tray service by setting up and delivering meals to residents, as well as collecting and cleaning trays after meals.
• Providing exceptional customer service by responding to resident requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintaining accurate records by documenting food temperatures, inventory, and other relevant information.
