HHS is seeking a Dietary Aide for Bayhealth Hospital - Sussex Campus to support patients with meals and menu selections. You will deliver meals in a timely manner and provide friendly service to ensure patient satisfaction.

Full-time, 12-hour shifts are available across day schedules, with Sunday to Tuesday 6 AM–6 PM and other shifts. A background check and proof of eligibility are required; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team.

Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team!

As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Responsibilities

Dietary Aide

• Wage: $16/hour
• Full-time positions available - 12-hour shifts
• Day shifts available
• Sunday to Tuesday from 6 AM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday 6:00 AM to 2 PM
• Wednesday 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday to Saturday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Bayhealth Hospital - Sussex Campus

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements

• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
